Visa Bulletin’s Big Leap for June 2007

Department of State released the latest Visa Bulletin for June 2007 on May 14. There appears big progress for people born in mainland China and India compared to last month.

For people born in mainland China filing employment-based immigration petitions, cut-off dates show significant progress as follows:

EB1: Current (current, last month)
EB2: January 1st, 2006 (April 22nd, 2005, last month)
EB3: June 1st, 2003 (August 1st, 2002, last month).

Cut-off dates for people born in India show big leap too. Here are the new cut-off dates:

EB1: Current (Current, last month)
EB2: April 1st, 2004 (January 8th, 2003, last month)
EB3: June 1st, 2003 (May 8th 2001, last month).

The Cut-off date for all chargeability areas except China, India, Mexico and Philippines has also seen a big leap in EB-3, compared with last month. It moved from August 3rd 2003 to June 1st 2005.
